Abstract
Barley is as most likely source for providing the effect food in human health among other cereals. This study was conducted in a randomized complete block design (CRD) with three replications at the Agricultural Laboratory of Islamic Azad University of Ardabil. Analysis of variance results showed that there were significant differences between lines in terms of the all evaluated traits at 1% level. Results of mean comparison showed that the variation range of seedlings fresh weight was variable between the studied lines and cultivars from 0.0997gr (Line No. 20) to 0.0357gr (Line No 14) that. Also results of lines mean showed that cultivar Sadik-02 had the highest value in terms of seedling dry weight. The results showed that the highest value in terms of seedling length had belonged to line No. 12 with 21.28cm.

Abstract
Wheat is the most important agriculture goods in international market and also it is one of the strategic agricultural productions which have daily and universal consumption. This study was conducted in a randomized complete block design (CRD) with three replications at the Agricultural Laboratory of Islamic Azad University of Ardabil. Results from analysis of variance for study of morphological traits in laboratory conditions suggest that there was a significant difference between study lines and cultivars in terms of all evaluated traits at 1% probability level. Results of mean comparison showed that the highest value in terms of seedlings fresh weight had belonged to line No. 25 with 0.0997gr. Also results of lines mean showed that line 5 had the highest value in terms of seedling dry weight, in contrast line 50 had the lowest seedling dry weight. Results showed line 8 with an average of 0.0070gr was the best in terms of root dry weight between studied lines; in contrast, lines number 18, 39, 49 and 50 with an average of 0.00017gr had the lowest root dry weight.

Abstract
The importance of soybean in agronomic systems is mainly due to the ability of plants to use atmospheric nitrogen through symbiosis with microorganisms in the soil. Studies have shown that different varieties within a species are different in terms of the nodulation and nitrogen fixation efficiency. In this study, 8 lines and varieties of agronomic soybean were compared in order to identify the most appropriate varieties. Simple correlation coefficients between traits showed a positive correlation between wet and dry weight of root nodules and seed yield per unit area and also showed positive correlation between nitrogen content of grain and plant with seed yield per plant unit. Stepwise regression analysis was performed by determination of nitrogen content of plant as dependent variable and traits such as biological yield, plant height and grain yield per plant remained in the model (R2 = 0.93). Analysis of correlation coefficients indicated that the direct effects of biological and seed yield on plant nitrogen rate were most remarkable and the most effect was related to biological yield.

Abstract
To investigate the effects of salinity on chemical and biochemical activities of three soybean varieties, greenhouse experiment was performed as split plot in a randomized complete block design (CRD). In this experiment, the salinity levels included three levels of (S1=50), (S2=100) and (S3=150) MM and cultivars consisted of 3-digit of L17, Zan and 033. Based on the results, the antioxidant activity of both enzymes increased under salinity stress in all cultivars that indicate the activation of the antioxidant defense system in them. The cultivar L17 produced the highest grain yield (2869/17 and 636/29 kg ha) in normal conditions, while the cultivar 033 *Zan showed the highest amount of yield (634/97 and 249/19 kg ha) at level of severe stress (S3). This cultivar between the other cultivars had the lowest amount of grain yield from the favorable conditions of irrigation to severe stress level. This cultivar in the part of chemical and biochemical results compared to the other varieties from the favorable conditions of irrigation to severe stress of salinity had respectively the highest and the lowest increase in antioxidant. It can be concluded from the mentioned results which this cultivar is likely better than other varieties in terms of physiological and agronomic traits.

Abstract
Salinity is very important to evaluate changes in plant a major problem of arid and semiarid regions is environmental stresses like salinity. To study the effect of salinity on germination characteristics of Mint, a completely randomized experiment was conducted under controlled conditions (germinator) with three replications in 2012. The experimental treatments included different salinity levels (0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 ds m-1). The studied traits included seedling length and dry weight, germination percentage and rate and seed viability index. It was found that salinity significantly decreased germination rate and percentage and seed viability index of Mint, but its effect on seedling length and weight was not different in levele of 0, 2, 4 and 6 ds m-1. In total, it can be concluded that salinity stress mainly decreased germination percentage and rate and seed viability index of Mint.
